Most are physically weaker, but they make up for it. Grab a weapon, plot, calculate, or knock 'em out before doing the damage. I personally won a war with a sword, though I didn't have to use it.
I'm glad I had enough foresight, since I would have had to pay the medical bills; not to mention possible jail time. (I'm sooooooo glad he flinched and surrendered. Otherwise, I would have considered the 'whack' worth it.)
Glad I don't waste my time on potential garbage like that anymore.
