I have read much of the bible has no historical precedence. Not gonna hunt down the links. Google it yourself. The bible is a tool for political and mind control. If you want something closer to what was meant to be, read the Nag Hammadi Bible, not the modern crap they have. While you're at it, google 'Council of Nicea' and see how the scriptures were corrupted.
