Only if they want to be. There are ways out, though I don't know why people have the damn things to begin with. I guess they like pain, high stress, no discretionary time, a low standard of living, and obligations. I'd like to say 'not my problem', but so many of the feckin' things live in hearing range, and there goes a slightly more peaceful environment. I mean, even without those bastiches, I got traffic noise, airships, sirens going off every damn half hour on a good day, etc. . .
Such is life in the suburbs, next to down town. I can't say I recommend it.
