Africa. This is what people eat. THEY WERE HUNTER/GATHERERS! Well, a goodly number, anyway. Some farmed. But they ate the wild animals that lived there. Honky-gringo-crackers hunt, too. They trophy kill, which is about as wrong as you can get. Before the worthless European invader garbage colonised the place, exploited and killed the people, killed the wildlife (Rome did a ton of damage there, getting the beasties for the gladiatorial events, and on it went to this day.), bushmeat was the norm, and it's better than factory farmed animals. IT WASN'T THE AFRICANS WHO EXTERMINATED THE QUAGGA!!!!!!!!!!!! IF EUROPE HAD KEPT ITS GREEDY PAWS OFF THE PLACE, AND DIDN'T MESS WITH WEATHER MODIFICATION, AFRICA WOULD PROBABLY STILL BE FILLED WITH PLENTY OF ALL KINDS OF CRITTERS, AND THEY WOULDN'T BE ON THE VERGE OF EXTINCTION!
Europe shoved the vile monetary economy down everyones' throats, when before the concept of poverty wasn't. They lived well enough, and didn't NEED the technology of Europe. Same for all the other indigenous peoples all over the planet. The world was fine without plastic and internal combustion engines, and lots of other crap that is now doing a damn good job destroying the world. How many thousands of years had the world been functioning without the destruction of the last 100 years?
Now, how many plants and animals are no more because of our crap? Then there's monsanto, the other biotech, petroleum, and chemical companies destroying the environment at an unprecedented rate, amongst many others? The worst is the banking industry which has cause so many wars due to greed over a worthless piece of paper that has been declared an exchange medium that's almost impossibly hard to escape. Barter was a more stress free existence. Also, various ancient civilisations did have indoor plumbing; and thy composted their garbage, since most of it was compostable. There were clean places. Not every culture threw their bodily wastes out the window.
Gotta wonder. Before they dumped their chamber pots, did they yell, 'FORE'?
If ya do the research, a lot of colonists joined the First Nations folk when they arrived here. Their way of life was better. Freer. Google it. So ya gotta wonder.
Yeah, but now we have electricity, and TV, and radio, and internet. I wouldn't be typing on the keyboard telling you all about the evils of all I'm using.
Well, I personally don't have a TV, I never listen to the radio anymore unless my flat mate has it turned on, and I don't have an IPad or IAnything, or cell phone, and before the internet I used to read a lot of books, hike, run, work out, write, draw, and do other things which I really enjoyed doing. I also used to play keyboard, regular guitar, bass, and recorder. Flute gave me a headache because I couldn't breath right. Now, poitical research, cats and errands take all my time. I might also get a 'real' job next week if the agency can get me the right shift, in which case this blog will probably get very few updates, not that you should miss it, considering YOU SHOULD GO TO MY SOURCES AND GET A WHOLE LOT MORE! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS?!
