The reason he was so vilified, is the victors write the history, and he really inconvenienced those victors for a while by getting monetary independence from the banking system. If you really do some research, you will find WW II ain't what you were taught it was; by a long shot.
It is true I do not hate him anymore. I'm rather neutral. I don't know enough to form a real opinion. But he did treat Eva pretty good. She wasn't bad at all. A little messed up, but she was pretty cool. She was a photographer, amongst other things. Feel free to google her.
