To follow stupid traditions that help 'the economy', from birth, at the expense to yourself. You are taught to be vain, flaunt your wares, try to make others envious of you, follow the status quo and well. . .you have my full contempt for going above and beyond the call of duty for living beyond your means and going into unnecessary debt.
The brilliant Ayn Rand strikes me as being not one of these.
I don't agree with all of her philosophies, but on the other hand. . .
