What's with the promise made by the one I'm really working for as a direct super, that he's has kept for so many years.  He's given me a wonderful existence where I've had time galore to do what I must, with just enough to keep going in relative comfort.

Raining in so much of calipornia off season, in small pockets.  It is July 4th.  The state hasn't been burnt up yet by careless fireworks.     The local weather forecast makes me wonder if we'll have a summer this year.  We had 10 scorcher days so far, which I call anything registering over 80° F.  One of those days was in the winter, technically.  Yes, I'm spoilt.  The highest was 91°.  The hot weather forecast keeps being pushed down the road like the last three years.  It finally hits in September or October.  Insane.  Where I live is special.  Weird.  Dangerous, too.  If you have anything vested in life, that is.

If I get stuck here long term, me thinks it's my destiny to be a healer if Simon Atkins ain't full of it.  I wanna do that mostly for animals.  Mostly. A few people here and there, but I reserve to do that only for those on the right side of history, and not the cancers of society.

I may go fully vegetarian yet.  I think it's been at least three months since I had my last chicken.  Nothing on Litha, nothing on Beltane, and nothing a few weeks before that.
