(This link may be something of a repost. I remember reading something about this, and I can't imagine not having posted it. It may even be the exact same link, not that I'm going to waste my time verifrying it.)
May I also remind us that if we exist on the blood, sweat, and tears of others, we are vulnerable, and the only way to true independence is self-containment, where we do not NEED anyone outside of ourselves? Parasites need their hosts, or they will die a slow, painful death. Parasitism is also not an honourable way to exist. It's rather contemptible, in fact.
