And ya also gotta remember Christianity and Islam are offshoots from Judaism. In fact, Islam has so much in common with Judaism, some question the difference. As for the usury thang, was that in early Judaism; I wonder? I ought to research that. The OT does say to leave 10% of your crops to the poor, so it was a charitable religion.
