ANIMALS ARE A LOT LIKE US

http://www.commondreams.org/views03/0901-04.htm

I've known that for long time.  I learned the language of the cat.  And that makes me semi-quadrilingual.  English, enough Spanish to get by (barely), Catonese, and if you speak Catonese, you could communicate with raccoons.  It's like Spanish and Portuguese or something.  They also have similar habits.  In a stress free environment, where no one is threatened, there's enough food for everyone, cats and 'coons also get along great.  'Coons are also easy to make friends with, though you do have to relate to them on their terms.  Voice of experience.

The critters we eat should be treated like deities before we eat them, and slaughtered as humanely as possible.  It's the least we can do.
