I would really pay attention to this article, and not keep any more than you absolutely have to in your account, if you're dumb enough to still be in a bank. Why haven't you switched to a credit union yet?
I'm flat broke so I don't have to worry about it, but that may change soon if I get a certain job that's actually in my field. But the pay will be so low, that the money is coming out the same day it's deposited if I can, so. . . I will make barely enough to pay the groceries and 1/5 of the household rent. But that's OK.
