Provided I Haven't Been Nuked Yet. . .

I'm going to be laughing my arse off on December 22, 2012, after it's just the same as December 20, 2012.  Why would the first day of the new Platonic Year be any different from the old Platonic Year?  It's just another revolution of the galaxy, like when we complete a revolution around the sun, only it takes a little longer.
