Sounds like a great idea. Crime will probably plummet considering cops are the worst offenders judging from the stories I see, but the cities will lose too much money from their 'revenue collectors', so it ain't gonna happen.
And from that last sentence in the article, it appears I'm not the only one with striking cops being a good idea.
