I've gotten visits from the cats, and from people who I never met in life that meant something to me. I was visited in dreams after calling on them. . .once. I'll see them again later, for a little while in the land out of time.
It's true, that no one is ever 'gone'. Not completely. Everyone of all species that you love, you will meet again. So must it be.
