I think they mean u.s.ians, but americans is right. In fact, this goes for most of the world, barring what's left of the tribes that still live with nature.
On the other hand, Physical Existence is slavery. You're a slave to your own body. No one here is completely free. Some are freer than others, but most bind themselves with chains so tight, the incredible hulk couldn't get 'em out.
