It is 6/17/14, 8:20 calipornia time and it is snowing in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and a teensy bit of Oregon. I have no idea on how to move a screen capture to this blog, and I don't feel like looking it up, so you can go to 'accuweather' which is about as accurate in their forecast as a blind person throwing darts at the board, but hey. If they say it's happening now, it's usually happening now. 99.9% of the time. One time I did e-mail them to tell them it was NOT raining, and the sky is clear for as far as I could see, but that only happened once in my life. Equipment failure happens. the weather station is unmanned. I've been right up to it. It's fenced off, running on autopilot.

I suppose he was playing, but I didn't see it like that. There were a a handful of other fights that he started. I lost the battles, but won the war. I finally refused to put up with it any more, grabbed my sword and threatened to whack him with it. He flinched and ceded. I didn't hit him. That was our last fight. I also told him to get the Hell out, since it was my lease, and I was supporting him. We weren't married yet (and only did that for tax reasons as far as I was concerned), so hey. He came back in tears saying he couldn't move back home again, and he promised he'd never hit me again.
My stepmother threatened my sperm donor with a knife when he threatened to whack her again, though fights between them were rare. (She was also making most of the money at that time.) He ceded, and that was the end of that. She also ruled the roost from that point on.

Such a past I have that would have astounded me when I was younger if someone else had done it.
In truth none of it matters.
It was all taken for granted when it happened, anyway.
I was too young and stupid to appreciate any of it when it happened.
Now I don't appreciate it because it no longer is.
It's all in memory hole.
Now I'm at Gound Zero in my own right.
But something happened somewhere between 5/23/14 and 6/2/14.
I wasn't alerted to the start time until yesterday.
A shift.
A snowballing, and I AIN'T TALKIN' ABOUT SEX; DAMMIT!
I have to surrender to the one I couldn't stand when I first him saw due to 'reverse programming'.
Not that it took me that long to wake up to a good thing.
But then it was too late for anything I was familiar with.
Now I have to deal with the unfamiliar.
Sink or swim.
Trial by fire.
I'll find out within roughly the next 6 1/2 months if I'm 'employed'.
