This is so weird. I think the areas were basically 'nuked'. Agenda 21? Was it the u.s. gubment? But why would they do in a prosperous set of areas? Or weren't the prosperous enough? Again, who wants the land?
Or was it a foreign gubment issuing a warning?
I suspect our own, but I could be wrong. After all, this post is based on speculation.
