A Disturbing Moment

Had to clean a car yesterday for my boss.  The container of fish spilled.  Found some dead prawns in the back seat area on the floor.  What a horrible death.  Not to mention what the fish went through, laying out of water on the tarp in back until she got back to the restaurant.

They are sentient animals with intelligence.  The fish waiting for slaughter also snuggle, probably comforting each other.  They often pair up next to each other, getting as close as they can to a hug; it seems.  They don't get fed, either.  The best that can happen to them is death.

Man, I am sooooo ANNOYED!  I was told I'd get Wednesdays off starting next week, now I'm told that's on hold.

Oh well.  An extra 40 odd bucks a week does come in handy now, and I was just given another assignment to do every week.  Slowly I move toward a 40 hour week.  That is a good thing, since now I can actually pay for about 40% of the rent.

And with life sucking so much right now, why do I feel so optimistic?  Well, I guess there's a reason for that.  After all, isn't WW III and a total world wide economic collapse just around the corner?
