I walked into City Hall once. Sure seemed like they got to sit around half the day at least, maybe answering a phone call or two here and there. Where can I get a job like that? I had to work an average of 55 hours a week to make 50K, and I had to run around all night in a bleedin' pressure cooker on machinery that didn't always cooperate.
Those were the daze.

Too bad I can't be sitting in a protected verandah on a stone bench with a stone table with a cup of masala chai, a large kettle on the table, and those who know the answer to mine questions. Too bad it's not raining. Too bad it's sunny. I love clouds. I hate sunny days. I'm living in the wrong part of the world.
I have to go down again to see if the mail came. It's late today. To I put a cup of tay on first, so I can drink it, beng I'm going out in jeans, boots, and t-shirt?

I am going nuts now. I feel like I'm going to explode or something, I have so many things hanging over me.
I've been stripped of what I once held dear to be given something else that is even more dear. . .yet now I must be given back what I was originally stripped of. . .for a little while. Duty reigns.

I would really pay attention to this article, and not keep any more than you absolutely have to in your account, if you're dumb enough to still be in a bank. Why haven't you switched to a credit union yet?
I'm flat broke so I don't have to worry about it, but that may change soon if I get a certain job that's actually in my field. But the pay will be so low, that the money is coming out the same day it's deposited if I can, so. . . I will make barely enough to pay the groceries and 1/5 of the household rent. But that's OK. I ain't makin' shite now; and payin' for my upkeep by bein' the household knave. . .knavette, what ever.
